RD Deshmukh is a part of the Logistics and Distribution Team. In his Principal role, his primary function as a Strategic Supply Chain leader is to engage with cross-functional leads and help build a robust Fulfillment, Logistics, and Distribution Network.

 

RD has collaborated with customers like Keurig, Hershey, Kimberly Clark, Clorox, Pepsi, Home Depot, Nestle, Michelin, P&G, Lululemon, Pepsi, Exxon, Shell, Pepsi, AB InBev, P&G, etc., to name a few. 

 

RD is also part of the Gartner Magic quadrant analysis Amazon focus team. He brings his deep WMS, LMS, TMS, SIOP, Logistics Network Optimization, and Strategy background. 

 

Prior to Amazon, RD worked for DHL Supply Chain, driving their end-to-end Supply Chain and container Technologies as VP of Global Supply Chain and General Motors.

 

He comes with a strong hands-on experience in Supply Chain. In the past 20+ years, he has led teams to develop successful Digitalization transformation roadmaps, Tech stack strategy, SIOP automation, Next Gen Warehouses, Supplier networks (ISVs &Sis), Operations planning, Process planning optimization, and many more. RD has received multiple awards for his "Next Generation" Supply Chain model.

 

RD is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Management.
