Ben Cubitt

Strategic Adviser

Mr. Cubitt has more than 35 + years of industry and consulting experience in supply chain optimization. He has a deep familiarity with the supply chain field working for consulting firms and multiple Fortune 500 companies in the consumer products, paper and automotive industries. Mr. Cubitt has been on the Leadership Team and a Senior Executive at Westrock (a $35 Billion Paper & Packaging Company) and Uber Freight (formerly Transplace – North America’s largest Managed Transportation Company).  At Transplace he led the engineering, carrier management and consulting teams.  

 

Mr. Cubitt retired from Uber Freight in May 2023 and now works as board member, strategic advisor for a number of industry companies.  He also leads Supply Chain Strategy Consulting LLC, and is very focused on his work with mental health organizations and is a member of the Board of Nami Northside Atlanta.  NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization.

 

 

He has been a CSCMP (largest global supply chain professional association)  member for over 25 years and  served as a Track Chairman at the CSCMP Global Conference in San Diego.  He served on the Global Board of CSCMP and was Roundtable Chair and responsible for leading / guiding 45 + roundtables in North America and over 25 Roundtables in Europe, Asia, Latin America and other regions.  Additionally, he has served two years as President of the Atlanta Roundtable and Board Member for 10 + years.  

 

Mr. Cubitt is frequently quoted in or has articles published in leading industry and business publications: WSJ, USA Today, Fortune,  Industry Week, APICs magazine, DC Velocity, Traffic World, Transport Topics and also authored the chapter “Transportation Operations and Optimization” in the Supply Chain Handbook.
